1. 并列连词

(1) 表示并列关系的连词：and, both... and..., neither... nor...等。

如：We were singing and dancing all evening.

(2) 表示转折关系的连词：but, yet, while等。

如：I would like to come, but I am too busy.

(3) 表示因果关系的连词：for

如：I didn’t buy it, for it was too expensive.

(4) 表示选择关系的连词：or, or else, either... or...等。

如：Would you like to leave or would you like to stay.

2. 从属连词

(1) 引导时间状语从句的从属连词

①表示“当……时候”或“每当”如：when, as, whenever, while

②表示“在……之前或之后”如：before, after

③表示“自从”或“直到”如：since, until, till

④表示“一……就……”如：as soon as, the moment, the minute, the second, immediately,   the instant, directly, instantly, once no sooner... than, hardly ... when.

⑤表示“上次”，“下次”，“每次”：every/each time（每次）, （the）next time （下一次）, （the）last time（上次）, （the）first time（第一次）
