高中英语《Module 4 unit 3 Tomorrow's World》说课稿

学生的口语表达能力及语言功底。而阅读课型作为高中英语教学中比较重要的课型之一,考查频率一直较高,故设计好一堂阅读课是考生在面试中取得成功的第一步。本文以牛津译林版必修四Unit 3 Tomorrows World阅读课为例进行说课设计,该说课以学生的现实生活为出发点和归宿点,旨在发挥学生的实际语言运用能力。

Greeting:

Good morning, respectful judges. It’s my great honor and pleasure to be here sharing my lesson with you. My topic today is “Not just watching a film”. I would like to begin my presentation with following parts:

1. Analysis of teaching materials

This lesson is from English Book of Oxford Yilin Edition Unit 3 Tomorrow’s World in Module Four, the reading part. This lesson is about a production called RealCine that applies the new technology of virtual reality. Through this lesson, students can learn the form of business presentation and the knowledge about the technology of virtual reality.

2. Analysis of students

Our students are Senior One students, and they are interested in the new topic. What’s more, they have already had some life experience and grasped a certain English knowledge after many years of English learning. However, they can’t express themselves and communicate with others in English fluently. So in this period, I would arrange some group works to encourage them to share their opinions with others.

3. Analysis of teaching aims

Based on the English curriculum standard and the characteristics of the students, I set the following teaching aims:

(1) Knowledge aims:

Students can learn the form of the business presentation and grasp some knowledge about the technology of virtual reality.

(2) Ability aims:

Students can use skimming skills to get the main idea of each part and use the scanning skills to get specific information.

Students can express their feelings and opinions about the application of virtual reality.

(3) Emotional aims:

Students will increase their confidence in group cooperation and discussing with others.

Students will arouse their interest of the benefits of new technologies.

4. Analysis of teaching key points and difficult points

According to the analysis of teaching material and students, I set the teaching key and difficult points as follows:

Key points:

Students can master the feature and structure of the business presentation and understand the benefits of the new technologies.

Students can apply reading strategies: skimming and scanning.

Difficult Point:

Students can express their opinions on the application of VR in various of occasions.

5. Analysis of teaching methods and learning methods

To help students achieve the teaching aims much better and easier, I’ll mainly use “Task-based” and “Communicative” teaching methods. For students, they will use autonomous learning method, and by learning to communicate with their classmates, they could become the real host of the class.

6. Analysis of teaching aids

Teaching aids can contribute to improve the quality of the class, so I will use multi-media to trigger students’ interests.

7. Analysis of teaching procedures

The reasonable arrangement of teaching procedures is the precondition of a successful lesson. So as for the most important part in this design, I decide to divided it into following steps:
