a belongs to the rule when the pronunciation of a word ends with a consonant, the following word begins with a semi-vowel;

And b belongs to the rule when the pronunciation of a word ends with a consonant, the following word begins with the same consonant;

c belongs to the rule when the pronunciation of a word ends with a vowel, the following word also begins with a vowel.

Step 5: Summary & Homework

Ask students to review what they learnt today.

Homework: Learn to sing the song Pretty Boy and search more knowledge about liaison.
