英语教案:《I have been studying history in China》
教学设计题
设计任务:根据所提供的信息和材料完成一节课的教学设计。
材料来源:人教版《新目标英语》八年级下册第六单元阅读部分。
设计要点:教学目标,教学过程和板书设计。
教学时间:45分钟
学生概况:某镇普通中学八年级学生,班级人数40,多数学生接近《义务教育英语课程标准》(2011年版)分级目标四级水平,学生参与的积极性一般,有合作意识。

Teaching Plan
Ⅰ. Teaching objectives:
After this period of teaching, students are expected to
1. Enhance the usage of Present Perfect Continuous Tense, master new words: dynasty, character, capital.
2. Read more traditional Chinese works, students will be willing and able to introduce Chinese history using target language.
3. Through some stories about foreign history, students’ horizons will be broaden.
Ⅱ. Teaching produce:
Step 1 Warm up:
1. Have a dictation of the new words and expressions studied in the last class.
2. Review the main sentences and grammar in the last class.
3. Let Ss act out the conversation learned in the last class in groups.
(Review the knowledge of last class and check every student’s learning progress and mastery degree)
Step 2 Pre-reading:
1. Brainstorm Chinese history, and discuss the following questions:
A. How many Chinese dynasties can you think of?
B. How many famous characters from Chinese history can you think of? Make a list.
C. Can you think of famous characters from the history of other countries? Make a list.
2. After ten minutes, ask a speaker from each group to tell the class what the group knows.
3. After Ss has finished, help to complete any missing dynasties and important characters the class should know.
(Raise Ss’ interests in history and develop Ss thinking capacities and teamwork)
While-reading:
1. Ask Ss.to scan the passage once for general meaning.
