(1) Auditory learners should walk around with a book or notes and read out loudly when study.

(2) Tactile learners benefit from learning things outside the classroom.

(3) Making charts and diagrams is helpful for tactile learners to learn.

(Justification: Through this part, students will be more familiar with the passage and acquire some useful learning techniques.)

Step 4 Post-reading

Divide students into a group of 4 and do a discussion. They need to discuss the questions in exercise 2 on the textbook. Teacher will give students 5 minutes to discuss and several students should present it in front of class. Teacher will give some feedback and good suggestions to them.

(Justification: Through this activity, students’ speaking ability will be promoted, besides, they can choose suitable learning techniques which will be of help to their further study.

Summary

Teacher will invite some students to review what they’ve learned in this class, and make a summary together.

(Justification: By doing this, students can evaluate the teaching effects of this class and find out what they have mastered and what they don’t handle.)

Homework

To try these learning techniques when going back home, and share whether they work with their classmates in the next class.

(Justification: By doing this, students can cultivate good learning habits and expand their horizon.)
